Residential Driver

The Residential Driver plays an essential role in providing safe, reliable, and efficient transportation for household members and supporting day-to-day family logistics. This position requires a trustworthy, responsible, and detail-oriented individual who can manage driving duties with professionalism and care. The Residential Driver is responsible for maintaining household vehicles, planning routes, and ensuring timely travel for family members, including school runs, appointments, and errands. This role involves close coordination with the household to understand schedules and preferences while maintaining discretion and a high standard of service. The ideal candidate will have strong driving skills, good knowledge of local routes, and a flexible approach to working hours. This role is vital in ensuring smooth daily operations within the household.

Responsibilities

1. Provide safe and timely transportation for family members and household staff
2. Manage daily schedules including school drop-offs, appointments, and errands
3. Plan routes efficiently considering traffic and time constraints
4. Maintain cleanliness and proper condition of household vehicles
5. Conduct routine vehicle checks (fuel, oil, tires, brakes, etc.)
6. Assist with errands such as shopping, deliveries, and pickups
7. Ensure adherence to traffic laws and safety standards
8. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
9. Keep records of trips, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance
10. Coordinate with household members regarding schedules and requirements
11. Handle basic vehicle troubleshooting when needed

Requirements

1. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
2. Proven experience as a residential or personal driver
