Domestic Driver

The Domestic Driver plays an important role in ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient transportation for household members while supporting daily domestic operations. This position requires a trustworthy, disciplined, and detail-oriented individual who can manage driving responsibilities with professionalism and care. The Domestic Driver is responsible for maintaining household vehicles, planning routes, and ensuring timely travel for family members, including school runs, appointments, errands, and other routine activities. This role involves close coordination with the household to understand schedules and preferences while maintaining discretion and a high standard of service. The ideal candidate will have strong driving skills, good knowledge of local routes, and the flexibility to adapt to changing household needs. This role is essential for maintaining smooth day-to-day functioning within the home.

Responsibilities

1. Provide safe and timely transportation for family members and household staff
2. Manage daily schedules including school drop-offs, appointments, and errands
3. Plan routes efficiently considering traffic and timing
4. Maintain cleanliness and proper condition of household vehicles
5. Conduct routine vehicle checks (fuel, oil, tires, brakes, etc.)
6. Assist with household errands such as shopping, deliveries, and pickups
7. Ensure compliance with traffic laws and safety regulations
8. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
9. Keep records of trips, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance
10. Coordinate with family members for transportation needs
11. Handle minor vehicle troubleshooting and report major issues promptly

Requirements

1. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
2. Proven experience as a domestic, residential, or personal driver
3. Good knowledge of local roads and traffic conditions
4. Strong sense of responsibility and punctuality
5. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if required
