Live-in Family Driver

The Live-in Family Driver plays a vital role in providing safe, reliable, and round-the-clock transportation support for family members while residing within the household premises. This position requires a highly trustworthy, disciplined, and service-oriented individual who can manage driving responsibilities alongside basic household support with flexibility and discretion. The Live-in Family Driver is responsible for maintaining vehicles, managing daily transportation schedules, and ensuring timely travel for family members, including school runs, appointments, and errands. This role involves close coordination with the family to understand routines and preferences while being readily available for urgent or last-minute travel needs. The ideal candidate will have strong driving skills, excellent knowledge of local routes, and a willingness to adapt to extended or irregular working hours. This role is essential in supporting the smooth functioning of the household and ensuring dependable mobility at all times.

Responsibilities

1. Provide safe and timely transportation for family members and guests
2. Manage daily schedules including school drop-offs, appointments, and errands
3. Remain available for on-call or emergency travel requirements
4. Plan routes efficiently based on traffic and time constraints
5. Maintain cleanliness, servicing, and overall condition of household vehicles
6. Conduct routine vehicle inspections (fuel, oil, tires, brakes, etc.)
7. Assist with errands such as shopping, deliveries, and pickups
8. Ensure strict confidentiality and professionalism at all times
9. Adhere to traffic laws and safety regulations
10. Keep accurate records of trips, fuel usage, and maintenance
11. Coordinate with family members and household staff for scheduling needs
12. Stay within the residence premises as required and be ready for duty

Requirements

1. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
2. Proven experience as a family or residential driver
3. Willingness to live on-site (accommodation provided)
4. Good knowledge of local roads and traffic conditions
5. High level of trustworthiness, discretion, and reliability

Job Requirements

• Ability to work flexible and extended hours, including weekends.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
