Operations Driver

The Operations Driver plays a crucial role in supporting the organization’s day-to-day operational activities by ensuring timely and efficient transportation of personnel, materials, and documents. This position requires a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented individual who can manage driving responsibilities while coordinating closely with operations and administrative teams. The Operations Driver is responsible for maintaining company vehicles, executing scheduled and ad-hoc transport requests, and ensuring smooth logistical support across departments. This role involves route planning, handling deliveries, and assisting with operational tasks as needed. The ideal candidate will have strong driving skills, good knowledge of local routes, and the ability to adapt to dynamic work requirements. This role is essential in maintaining operational efficiency and supporting business continuity.

Responsibilities

1. Provide safe and timely transportation for staff, materials, and documents
2. Execute scheduled and on-demand transport requests efficiently
3. Plan routes based on traffic, urgency, and operational priorities
4. Maintain cleanliness, servicing, and overall condition of company vehicles
5. Conduct routine vehicle inspections (fuel, oil, tires, brakes, etc.)
6. Assist with delivery and collection of documents, packages, and supplies
7. Ensure compliance with traffic laws and company safety policies
8. Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive materials
9. Coordinate with operations and administrative teams for daily tasks
10. Keep accurate records of trips, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance
11. Report delays, incidents, or vehicle issues promptly
12. Support basic operational or office tasks when required

Requirements

1. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
2. Proven experience as a driver in operations, logistics, or similar roles
3. Good knowledge of local roads and traffic regulations
4. Strong time management and organizational skills
5. Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
