Pickup / Van Drivers

We are looking for a reliable and safety-conscious Van Driver to join our team in the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods, packages, and materials to customers and designated locations in a timely and efficient manner. The ideal applicant should possess excellent driving skills, a strong understanding of UAE road networks, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service. This role requires punctuality, attention to detail, and the ability to ensure deliveries are completed accurately while maintaining the assigned vehicle in excellent condition.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate company vans to transport goods and materials across the UAE.
• Deliver orders to customers according to assigned routes and schedules.
• Load, unload, and secure cargo to prevent damage during transportation.
• Inspect the vehicle before and after each trip to ensure it is roadworthy.
• Maintain the cleanliness and overall condition of the assigned van.
• Plan efficient delivery routes using GPS and navigation systems.
• Verify delivery documents, invoices, and customer signatures.
• Keep accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and trip details.
• Follow all UAE traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company policies.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, or maintenance requirements promptly.
• Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams regarding delivery schedules.
• Ensure goods are delivered in excellent condition and on time.
• Collect payments or delivery confirmations when required.
• Assist with loading and unloading heavy or bulky items.
• Monitor fuel levels and arrange refueling as needed.
• Handle customer inquiries professionally during deliveries.
• Maintain valid vehicle registration and related documentation.
• Support warehouse operations during non-delivery hours if required.
• Ensure the security of goods while in transit.
• Perform other transportation and logistics duties assigned by management.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid UAE Light Vehicle Driving License.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Van Driver or Delivery Driver in the UAE.
• Good knowledge of UAE roads, highways, and major locations.
• Clean driving record with a strong commitment to safe driving practices.
• Ability to lift and carry goods when required.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and daily inspections.
• Good communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
• Familiarity with GPS navigation and route planning applications.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, weekends, and overtime when necessary.
