Senior Personal Driver

The Senior Personal Driver is a key role responsible for providing safe, efficient, and high-quality transportation services to individuals or families while maintaining the highest level of professionalism, discretion, and reliability. This position requires an experienced and detail-oriented individual who can manage complex travel schedules, ensure vehicle readiness, and deliver a superior driving experience. The Senior Personal Driver plays an essential role in supporting daily routines and special travel requirements, often handling high-pressure situations with calmness and efficiency. This role involves close coordination with employers, household staff, and occasionally security personnel to ensure seamless transportation services. The ideal candidate will possess advanced driving skills, strong knowledge of routes and traffic patterns, and the ability to anticipate client needs. This position is critical in ensuring comfort, safety, and punctuality in all travel arrangements.

Responsibilities

1. Provide safe, punctual, and comfortable transportation for employers, family members, and guests.
2. Plan and manage daily travel schedules, adjusting routes based on traffic and conditions.
3. Ensure vehicles are always clean, well-maintained, and in excellent working condition.
4. Conduct routine inspections and coordinate servicing, repairs, and insurance renewals.
5. Handle confidential assignments and maintain strict discretion at all times.
6. Assist with luggage, personal belongings, and special travel requirements.
7. Coordinate with household staff or office teams regarding schedules and travel plans.
8. Manage long-distance and outstation travel when required.
9. Maintain detailed records of trips, fuel usage, expenses, and maintenance logs.
10. Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations.
11. Train or supervise junior drivers if applicable.
12. Respond promptly and professionally to last-minute schedule changes.

Requirements

1. Valid driver’s license with a clean and proven driving record.
2. Extensive experience as a personal driver, chauffeur, or in a similar senior role.
3. Excellent knowledge of local and regional routes, traffic patterns, and navigation tools.
4. Strong defensive driving skills and ability to handle high-pressure situations.
5. High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
6. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Job Requirements

• Basic mechanical knowledge for minor vehicle troubleshooting.
• Well-groomed appearance and courteous demeanor.
• Ability to manage schedules independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
